We installed the newest version of Message Sniffer successfully, but are unable to connect to your system. Why?

If everything appears to be working on your end, then the most likely cause is that something in your network is blocking SNF from connecting to our systems. Normally the outbound connection would be to port 25. It can also be configured to connect to port 80.

Even though these are well known ports for SMTP and HTTP, SNF does not use these protocols. If you have an inspecting firewall it may be breaking the connection when it sees the traffic isn't in the right format. You will need to tell your firewall(s) to let SNF connect out to our servers.
