<result/>

This element controls the generation of a scan result X-header.

The content of the X-header will be the scan result code for the message. The scan result code is generally a numeric symbol for one of our core rule groups. The most common use of this X-header is to provide a signal that can be read later by message processing rules that redirect the messages or by additional filtering systems that will further evaluate the message (perhaps by adding weight to the message score according to SNF result codes).

<result on-off='off'>X-MessageSniffer-Scan-Result</result>

on-off='on' turns on the result X-Header, on-off='off' turns it off.

X-MessageSniffer-Scan-Result is the default name of the X-header. You can change this text to customize the name of the header.
